The North looks at itself

"The Conference on Peace and Security in the North will go down as a missed opportunity by elders and politicians to take stock of the strengths and weaknesses of the north. Amafe Jessica wall : As Chairman , Campaign Committee for HC RAYMOND DOKPESI PDP NAT CHAIRMAN CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION , my attention was drawn to an advertorial in today'a (8th dec 2017 ) Sun Newspapers in which Dan Orbih , as Chairman of Edo State PDP sponsored a campaign against the aspiration of Dr RAYMOND DOKPESI, a bonafide son of edo state and purportedly claimed that PDP leaders and members in the south south zone and Edo State have endorsed Uche Secondus of Rivers state for PDP NATIONAL CHAIRMAN!!!
Firstly this is a blatant lie and totally incorrect. Secondly Dan Orbih gathered edo state delegates into Chief Anenih's house in Abuja this evening and pleaded with them to vote for oUche Secondus who is being sponsored by Gov Wike of Rivers State!
Simply put , Dan Orbih is telling edo delegates to abandon their son Raymond Dokpesi and vote for Secondus and Wike of Rivers state!
What a shame !!!
I am very proud of all the edo state delegates who have told Dan Orbih to his face that who they must all vote for their son Dokpesi...,,,,Thank you all !
Dan Orbih is a shame to the Orbih Family of Ogbonna.
Dan Orbih is a shame to the Ogbonna clan of edo state
Dan Orbih is a shame to the people of Etsako central Lga of edo state
Dan Orbih is a shame to the people of Edo North who sponsored him as pdp Chairman of edo state .
Immediately after the Convention , Dan Orbih must resign from the position of edo state pdp Chairman .
He is no more a fit and proper son of edo state TO OCCUPY THAT PATRIOTIC POSITION

BREAKING: Boko Haram Commander Shekau comes out Alive

Another round of drama has started in Nigerian security circle. Just a day after President Goodluck Jonathan sounded confident that Boko Haram are being defeated, following claims by the military that they had killed Boko Haram's dreaded commander, Abubakar Shekau, the man has come out alive.

Shekau, in a new video, dismissed claims by Nigerian military that he has been killed. In fact, Shekau said he and his boys have started implementing Islamic law in towns they have captured in Nigeria:
“Here I am, alive. I will only die the day Allah takes my breath,” Shekau said in the 36-minute video, adding that Boko Haram is “running our... Islamic caliphate” and strictly administering Sharia punishments...

It would be recalled that the Nigeria’s military said Shekau was dead and that a man who had been posing as the group’s leader in the videos had been shot dead after fighting with troops in the far northeast.

The claim was debunked by several sources monitoring the insurgency in north east Nigeria. It was even further thrashed when the 7 seconds video on the Shekau look-alike went viral on the internet

The captured man who was later killed did not look like the man who normally taunted Nigeria’s leaders and their military in video clips.

The new 36-minute video showed Shekau, in combat fatigues and black rubber boots, standing on the back of a pick-up truck and firing an anti-aircraft gun into the air.

The heavily bearded Shekau, who appeared to be the same as those in previous clips, said the military’s claim that he was dead is cheap propaganda.

“Nothing will kill me until my days are over… I’m still alive. Some people asked you if Shekau has two souls. No, I have one soul, by Allah,” he said.

OluFamous.Com had reported last week that a known negotiator said Shekau is 'well and alive'.

MY ANCESTORS ARE KNOWN AS EDOS FROM BENIN KINGDOM NOT NIGGERS
THE ETYMOLOGICAL ORIGINS OF THE WORD NIGERIA (NIGGER)
The name Niger-ia, or Nigger area was given to that country by the mistress of one of the most evil-minded genocidal murders of Africans named Lord (Bloodclat!) Lugard
Flora Shaw later Flora Lugard named the areas within the Sokoto Emirate and stolen Benin kingdom territory, Nigger area, Nigeria. She claimed she got the the name from the Niger River. It was supposed to mean the area around the Niger River..
Niger as we all know is also the Latin word for black.
Nigeria, is the most populated African country of today. We know that the genocidal murders and slavers would have meant to utilize the Latin root (nigers) niggers, to designate Nigeria, the home of the largest population of Africans, Niger as we all know is also the Latin word for black. The name they called the so-called slaves they took to the Americas was Niggers!
Now that same Slave Coast area where they used to take the Niggers is now coincidentally called Niger-ia or Niger-area (acording to the official His-tory).

Happy new month and independence day

President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, has taken a swipe on Nigeria, labeling the country and her citizens as corrupt. He made the remark during his 90th birthday luncheon hosted by the service chiefs and the public commission.

President Robert Mugabe
President Robert Mugabe
Mugabe said Zimbabweans are now almost behaving like Nigerians who have to be corruptly paid for every service.

“Are we now like Nigeria where you have to reach your pocket to get anything done,” he said. “You see we used to go to Nigeria and every time we went there we had to carry extra cash in our pockets to corruptly pay for everything.
You get into a plane in Nigeria and you sit there and the crew keeps dilly dulling without taking off as they wait for you to pay them to fly the plane,” said the president followed by a huge laugh from the delegates attending his birthday bash. The current corruption rankings in the world rank Zimbabwe’s corruption a lot worse than Nigeria.

Nigeria is ranked 163 worst corrupt country in the world while Zimbabwe is an embarrassing 170 third from the bottom.
The report was carried by Bulawayo24 News, based in Zimbabwe. (104)

Nigerians are not blind. We are just foolishly accepting wrongness. Our mumudom is killing us. Why will an estimated 2 million people, pay N1000 for forms for a recruitment process with only 3000 vacancies?

Why will NIS decide to make 'business' out of Nigerian citizens by raising funds and calling it job application fees? If the figures of those who applied are correct, then NIS raised an estimated N2billion Naira from poor unemployed Nigerians!

An estimated 13 people are dead, many more injured, in what can only be described as a grossly inefficient and hopelessly flawed aptitude test 'experiment. But, we are the real mumus!

If 10% of those who paid for forms will come out to protest and demonstrate, or sign a petition, or write their governor/NASS member etc, then things will begin to change.... but nope, we will allow religious, tribal and political differences to separate us, and won't unite over the common causes of corruption and bad governance.

We have become a nation of mumus! We are ruled by those who crush and oppress us, and we shuffer and shmile! ~ Bucky Hassan 2014

Unpleasant realities in Nigeria
4 Easy steps to getting Fuel at station if you are willing to pay Extra.
Step 1.
Quietly park your car near the exit of the station.
Step 2.
Register your presence with N500 or N1,000 depending on the size of your car with the combined Police and Area boys security at the exit. the exit gate will be opened for you.
Step 3
Extra N200 will ensure your vehicle is escorted to a dedicated dispensing pump in the station. quietly buy your fuel and part with another N200 for the pump attendants.
Step 4
quietly drive out of the station. dont forget to acknowledge the salute from the area boys and police while driving out of the station.
if you are not ready for the above, pls go and join the line of vehicles which sometimes is up to 2 kilometers.
