"If we must stop the external imperialists –America and Europe from stealing African natural resources, we must be ready to stop internal imperialists from doing so as well. As Nigerians, it is time we say final no to internal imperialists if we must stop external imperialists. True Federalism or outright division of Nigeria will reduce external imperialists influence on our wellbeing" -

AFRICANS:
"Africans are neither angels nor demons; they posses and exercise the potentialities of both angels and demons. They can be as kind as the Germans, but they can be as murderous as the Germans; Africans can be as generous as the Americans, but they can be as greedy as the Americans; they can be as friendly as the Russians, but they can be as cruel as the Russians; they can be as honest as the English, but they can also be as equally hypocritical. In their human nature, Africans are Germans, Swiss, Chinese, Indians or English-...."

THEY KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW! - LIBYA USE TO BE A PLACE AFRICAN PEOPLE WORK AND MAKE A LEAVING TOO. EVEN WHEN LIBYA WAS AT WAR AND HEAVY CRISES ALL THESE NEVER HAPPENED. EUROPEAN UNION HAVE BEEN HOLDING SERIES OF MEETING ON THE BEST WAY TO HANDLE AFRICANS THRU THE SEA. I THINK THEY GOT THESE STRATEGY TO BE MOST EFFECTIVE FOR THEM YES STOP SLAVERY IN LIBYA!!
I have cacausian family and very aware of institutional racism in europe and america. How do we handle the continious slavement of black african people in Europe and America? why should an african child no have access to travel to the west as western children and citizens have assess to the outside world? When will black Africa be given same opportunity as their europe/american counterpart? how do we heal the world of the injustice they continue to commit against black African people and countries to the new world order?. I think sharing or teaching about said issues are part of the mass awareness that's part of solutions to know where the problem lies as to finding possible solutions. I beleive to help africans move with the rest of the world is to let them know where the problem lies and then allow them design how to grow themselves to meet up with the rest of the world. Yes the first step is the overhul of the african mindset now occupied with falsehood and vanity . first recognise they need value themselves, worship their own, develop their own like the asian not the euro- arab mindset they currently working with that making their brains dyfunction given birth to confusion and mentally ill society that result to their total self hate. Africans are killing themselves because of miseducation and false religion. The only way you can help them is make them be themselves not giving to false image and likeness. its not about being obsess. African racism today by their white /cacausion counterpart in the west began since slave trade. They need be taught exactly what happened and what they do later is left to them. having knowkledge of the past is also important to know how to handle the future to create peacefull coexistence ,hence humans are bound to repeat same thing. Whether you and I like it or not its what happened and must be told for us all to learn never to repeat. And probably alesson to those planning continueing or wnats to go do same thing in Africa again. Most Africans themselves are very ignorant about the root of their situation and problems, hence not making reasonable progress in their efforts to solutions
Ehi Sed These heads of state are only caretakers for Western investments in their countries....they cant boast that they produce anything substantive locally..or claim to tax anything substantive from local commercial activity.. its even worse on the local level...from realtionship between state governors and traditional rulers and Chiefs ...we have adopted foriegn systems to govern ourselves and are failing at it....Africans have historically governed ourselves with our own tribalistic systems--till today, our tribal identities remains stronger than the national(adopted/post colonial) identities...we need to respect and empower our tribalistic systems by empowering the traditional rulers and chiefs within the frame work of the national(adopted) system. In other words, State governors should be beholden to the traditional rulers and chiefs. As the chiefs themselves recognize the Governor and Presdents role in promoting state/national cohesion in the larger international realm

****R.I.P. Dr. Ozodi Thomas Osuji - An Elegy.y by Nobody: 7:08am On Nov 11, 2012
Yes.. True to hype, Dr Ozodi is a doctorate degree holder from a renowned university. Getting down to specifics, he spent the better part of his education and practice in science and psychology and thus, has better knowledge in that field. However, he makes a living, of recent, writing essays on politics and economy-related issues, a highly expert-sensitive issues, which almost every individual has a fair knowledge on. As a result, his amateurish jabbers and irrational views hardly go unnoticed, as people constantly highlight his errors. Well, like I said, since the issues directly affects the people, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. Though it's a tad unreasonable to spend time and money publishing such unrefined facts. No envy though. Ride On!
But just recently, he's ventured into Literature, probably now bored with politics and economics, as he did get bored with science and psychology much earlier too. Well, this time, it definitely will backfire, because we're not just talking 'effects on people' here. We're talking about 'understanding literature' as pure and natural skill, harnessed and honed over the years, to create ideas that unfolds our inner desires and yearns, one which judging by the educational background and interests of Dr Ozodi, cannot be developed overnight. But he dared venture and successfully enacted an absolute irony, albeit humourous scene.
In Nigeria per say, there are three Literature experts. One is 'Prof. Wole Soyinka'. Another is 'Dr. Chinua Achebe' while the third is 'Others'. Dr Ozodi, in spite of his 'egg-stage' in literary conception, did launch a scathing attack on one of the two finests Nigeria has ever produced in the 'Literature World', Dr Chinua Achebe, criticizing and defaming the facts embedded in his book 'There was a Country'. Well, I have just three facts to outline for Dr Ozodi..which he must take seriously.
1. You are no literature scholar, talk less, a mogul. So, where is the proof that you can decipher the tone of that text? Everybody is entitled to his/her own moods, regarding a piece, but the tone, which defines the truest feelings and messages imbedded in such texts, remains the sole property of the author, and except he lets you into it, you can only guess at it flaily, which you just did and went on to publish.
2. Congratulations once again, at redefining your seemingly fading tag 'Igbo-Hating Igboman'. With the enthusiasm at which you set out to do that, and with the amazing success recorded, one always imagines if you get paid by 'SOMEONE' to focus on it?

3. Finally, I'm beginning to feel, you're really living your name, 'Osuji'. Like the biblical 'Jabez', I have no doubt you believe in your name and the impact it has on your life. Need I remind you, a variant of 'Osuji' means 'Yam Pounder' or 'Pounder of Yam'. And when a person is called Osuji ordinarily, it's not because the person naturally pounds yam, it's because of a trick used by lazy yam pounders to escape hard work continuously. The trick is to focus on chasing any little animal in sight, especially domestic fowls, assuming they're always a bother to you, instead of focusing on pounding the yam, so that at the end of the day, they do no work, but still get their pay.. So, Dr Ozodi.. Are you an Osuji?
President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, has taken a swipe on Nigeria, labeling the country and her citizens as corrupt. He made the remark during his 90th birthday luncheon hosted by the service chiefs and the public commission.
Mugabe said Zimbabweans are now almost behaving like Nigerians who have to be corruptly paid for every service.
“Are we now like Nigeria where you have to reach your pocket to get anything done,” he said. “You see we used to go to Nigeria and every time we went there we had to carry extra cash in our pockets to corruptly pay for everything.
You get into a plane in Nigeria and you sit there and the crew keeps dilly dulling without taking off as they wait for you to pay them to fly the plane,” said the president followed by a huge laugh from the delegates attending his birthday bash. The current corruption rankings in the world rank Zimbabwe’s corruption a lot worse than Nigeria.
Nigeria is ranked 163 worst corrupt country in the world while Zimbabwe is an embarrassing 170 third from the bottom.
The report was carried by Bulawayo24 News, based in Zimbabwe. (104)
